This website has been produced with the assistance of some fantastic free software and one inexpensive program.

-  JAlbum (www.jalbum.net) - fabulous free web photo album software with range of skins

-  WysiWyg Web Builder (www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com) - excellent, low cost, simple web site builder

-  PhotoFlow (free extension for Wysiwyg written by BaconFries(!)) - the photoflow animation on the front page

-  Turtle skin for JAlbum - also a free download - the most flexible of the free skins even allows a shopping basket

Thanks to all the software writers who have made the task easier
Bob was born in Kent and as a child lived in Australia and Singapore where he developed an interest in photography at an early age. He was, for seventeen years, a secondary school headteacher and now concentrates full time on his photography.

His work covers a wide range of subject matter, including travel and nature. His main focus is on landscape photography particularly in mountain regions especially the Lake District where he can combine photography with his love of high level walking. In September, 2010, Bob (with Ann Marshall) completed the 200mile Coast to Coast walk from St Bees Head to Robin Hood’s Bay. In 2009, they travelled to India for six weeks.

Bob lives in Buckinghamshire where he enjoys exploring the colours and patterns of the local countryside.   Whilst taking pleasure in creating large images with high resolution, detail and sharpness, he also works creatively with less formal images usually taking elements from nature - old twisted ivy, a red pepper or a flower for example - and sometimes introducing elements such as deliberate camera blur or softening of the image. Bob has had photographs exhibited in the London Salon of Photography and the RPS International, and a portfolio of his work published in PhotoArt International. He is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society. He has held four exhibitions of his work at the Obsidian Art Gallery
